Managing Director, Executive Search
With nearly fifteen of experience in nonprofit executive search, Trisha specializes in executive searches for leading social justice and advocacy organizations nationwide. In this role, Trisha is responsible for all aspects of the executive search lifecycle from the candidate development stage to partnering closely with clients to place and onboard top talent.
Trisha is a certified diversity recruiter and brings a strong focus on equity to her searches. Representative and recent clients include MoveOn, March for Our Lives, Legal Aid Society, Muslim Advocates, and the Vera Institute of Justice. Of particular note, Trisha has led eleven leadership searches for different ACLU affiliates across the country, including a number of affiliates based in the Deep South.
Inspired by her search work and lived experience as a woman of color, Trisha is a committed organizer and activist for progressive political issues, specifically voting rights, racial justice, and gun violence prevention. She mobilizes funds and people through social media and online advocacy, with a strong focus on building civic action and dialogue among voters in swing states.
Prior to her role at Koya, Trisha spent six years on the executive search team at The Bridgespan Group, a nonprofit advisor and resource for mission-driven organizations and philanthropists.
She is a graduate of the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University and holds a BA in Labor and Industrial Relations.
Trisha is based in Sarasota, Florida, with roots in Northeast Pennsylvania and Boston.
