Managing Director, Executive Search
As Managing Director, Executive Search at Koya, Erin conducts searches for leading mission-driven clients across the nonprofit sector. With a prior career in community development finance and a deep commitment to the nonprofit sector, Erin enjoys establishing strong client relationships that result in exceptional placed candidates for her searches.
Erin has led searches for a wide variety of clients including The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, The Opportunity Alliance, Financial Health Network, and Root Cause, among others. In her 12-year career in executive search, she has conducted more than 200 searches for many CEO and senior level searches across the sector. Erin takes particular pride in getting to know an organization well and helping to build out a team at all levels.
Given her background, Erin has a particular expertise leading searches for Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and other organizations working in affordable housing and community and economic development.
Erin also worked for 11 years at the Rhode Island Housing and Mortgage Finance Corporation. In this capacity, she oversaw multifamily development that resulted in the financing and construction of over 200 new affordable housing units annually as well as the preservation and renovation of 2,000 existing affordable housing units annually.
Erin’s background also includes work in nonprofit public relations, community outreach, research, and special projects.
Erin serves on the Board of Directors for AFFIRM, a nonprofit founded by the medical community to address gun violence in the United States from a public health perspective.
Erin holds a BA in political science from The College of the Holy Cross. She earned an MPA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
