Emily focuses on search execution and knowledge management. She works closely with search teams to implement research-based strategies for Koya’s executive searches.

Prior to Koya, Emily worked for DHR International, another global search firm, where she worked on the Research and Recruiting team. In this role, she assisted in assignment search strategy and candidate identification. She performed in-depth research and analysis of companies and trends in various industries.

Previously, Emily served in the Community Relations Department for the Chicago Sky WNBA, the American professional women’s basketball team based in Chicago.  At the Chicago Sky, she planned and executed community events and conducted outreach for the donation program, Sky Cares Foundation. In addition to other responsibilities, Emily assisted in planning events and programs dedicated to the discussion of diversity and inclusion amongst industry leaders. During her time with the Chicago Sky, Emily assisted in organizing and executing the Guinness World Record for the largest single-venue basketball clinic.

Emily’s civic involvement demonstrates her passion for education and working with children. She has served as an Inclusion Companion for the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association. In this role, Emily supported and advocated for children with Special Needs within their own community.

Throughout her life, Emily has enjoyed athletics, as both an athlete as well as an instructor and coach.  She was a Division 3 athlete and played on Denison University’s Lacrosse Team for 4 years.

Emily received her B.A. in Educational Studies with a minor in Psychology from Denison University.  While at Denison, she studied abroad in Ireland.
