Consultant, Executive Search
As an Executive Search Consultant, Alison works closely with search teams to recruit senior executives to mission-driven clients. Alison supports all aspects of the search process with a focus on project management, candidate development and client engagement. Integral to all of her work is a passion and commitment to social impact.
Prior to joining Koya, Alison was with the Baumhart Center for Social Enterprise and Responsibility at Loyola University Chicago. There, she served as the Communications Associate, leading the Center’s strategic communication plan. In addition to other responsibilities, Alison identified and recruited candidates to the Baumhart Scholars, a highly selective MBA cohort focusing on social impact.
Alison also has experience in retail with a digitally native startup company created by and for women.
Previously, Alison taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in Cape Town, South Africa in conjunction with a service-learning program focused on race relations and community-based development.
Alison’s civic involvement also demonstrates her interest in women and leadership. Among other roles, she led the efforts for Refugee Girls “Learning in Action” summer program to inspire the idea of female empowerment to the next generation.
Alison received her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Gender Studies from Loyola University Chicago where she was a member of the Interdisciplinary Honors Program.
