WildAid is a unique global wildlife non-profit organization dedicated to ending the illegal wildlife trade by reducing demand for wildlife products and inspiring public support for wildlife conservation in Asia and Africa. The organization’s approach differs from other global conservation organizations in that it focuses on demand reduction rather than on the supply side of the wildlife trade. Using massively leveraged donated media, from video Public Service Announcements to documentary films, billboards, and social media featuring local and international icons, WildAid reaches hundreds of millions of people with the messages “when the buying stops, the killing can too” and “poaching steals from us all”.
WildAid is at an exciting inflection point and is seeking an innovative and collaborative leader to shepherd the organization into its next chapter. The CEO will report to and serve on the Board of Directors and will work alongside the Founder, who will serve as WildAid’s President, and with other members of the leadership team to expand WildAid’s impact and achieve its mission.
This is a compelling opportunity to work alongside a founder who is recognized as a global leader in the movement to conserve endangered land and marine animals.
This position offers the right leader an opportunity to work with an organization that is leading a global movement around demand reduction and to put strong operational and leadership skills to use in order to scale the organization’s impact worldwide.
