The Opportunity

Sesame Workshop is seeking an experienced Chief Development Officer (CDO) to implement and lead the strategic expansion of a creative and entrepreneurial development program that emphasizes and advances the Workshop’s mission, impact, and growth. This is a unique opportunity to join Sesame at a critical moment in its history and to work with a committed, passionate, and talented leadership team to build on the organization’s success and help propel it to new levels of accomplishment.

The CDO will join a highly visible and prestigious organization that is universally recognized for excellence in early childhood education and a commitment to meeting the most critical needs of children and families around the world. Sesame’s impact is well-documented through rich internal and external research. Those performance metrics, along with the organization’s mission, are what inspire donors. The CDO will serve as lead strategist in growing sustainable revenue streams for integrated fundraising.
