Purchaser Business Group on Health (PBGH) is seeking an experienced CFO to serve as the organization’s combined CFO/COO and lead the finance and accounting, human resources, and IT operations into the future. The CFO/COO will be responsible for partnering with the CEO, Chief Strategy Officer, Board, and other leaders to identify, model, and implement funding approaches that advance PBGH’s mission. They will play a key role in developing financially sustainable products and services. This expertise will include modeling financial scenarios of new undertakings including launching new services, pricing new and existing products and services, and reviewing cost-benefit analyses of current offerings.
The CFO/COO will have a strong understanding of the relationship between nonprofit and for-profit entities and the potential governance structures, tax implications, and considerations required to effectively manage non-profit ownership of and affiliation with PBGH’s for-profit spin-offs. The CFO/COO will facilitate discussions with the leadership team regarding long-term financial planning and lead the ongoing creation and implementation of PBGH’s financial plan.
