About New Tech Network

New Tech Network (NTN), a national nonprofit organization, is a leading design partner for comprehensive school change. They work closely with districts and schools to co-create innovative and equitable learning environments in more than 200 schools in the U.S. and Australia. Through a proven school model, a project-based learning platform, and powerful professional development, they coach schools toward lasting change and ongoing improvement. Headquartered in Napa, California, New Tech Network staff are geographically dispersed and have a long-established virtual and remote workforce. NTN’s virtual practices enabled the organization to shift service delivery to fully remote as the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded, to support network schools in their shifts to remote and hybrid conditions.

New Tech Network views diversity/ multiculturalism as an organizational asset and they are committed to creating an organization that reflects the communities they serve, in addition to a culture where everyone feels valued, heard, and included.

The Team

The People, Culture, and Equity team is responsible for creating strategic alignment between the organization’s goals and values and the people who implement them. Every aspect of the department’s efforts are aligned with NTN’s Equity Beliefs and Commitments. Notably: “They aspire to become an anti-racist organization that contributes to the formation of a just and equitable society and they recognize that work must start with themselves and be ongoing and deliberate.” Led by the Chief People and Equity Officer (CPEO), the team consists of an external HR Partner, Director of Equity, and a People Experience Manager, whose activities and efforts help to bridge New Tech Network’s products and services that support closing the opportunity gaps in the communities they serve and in New Tech Network’s internal capacity building.
