Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (BRAFB) is the largest organization alleviating hunger in western and central Virginia, serving communities over 12,000 square miles. Headquartered in Verona, VA, BRAFB serves 25 counties and 8 cities on either side of the Blue Ridge through their distribution centers in Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Winchester.
The Food Bank currently provides nutritious food to 130,000 people each month through a far-reaching network of more than 200 food pantries, soup kitchens, schools, churches and other nonprofit groups. Alongside their partners, BRAFB nourishes families where they live, work, play or go to school. Together, they are distributing 23 million meals a year and addressing hunger on a grassroots level to ensure that everyone has enough to eat.
