Koya partnered with International Women’s Health Coalition (IWHC) on its Vice President, Development and Communications search.
Since 1984, IWHC has taken courageous stands and achieved political victories for women and girls globally and in local communities. IWHC has helped build and strengthen more than 80 organizations in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East and provided mentorship and $24 million in grants to women and youth advocates across these regions.
Yael Gottlieb is a nonprofit leader with over 15 years of experience in development and outreach.
Previously, Gottlieb was the Senior Director for International Initiatives at Human Rights Watch, where she worked to develop the organization’s fundraising efforts in countries including India and Brazil, and oversaw the development and communications strategies for the organization’s global network of 900-plus donors.
Gottlieb’s professional experiences includes foundation relations and grant writing, events management, and individual giving. She has worked with the American India Foundation, the Maisha Foundation and Action India, a Delhi-based women’s rights organization.
Gottlieb holds a Bachelor of Arts from New York University. She earned a Master’s in Public Administration in International Nonprofit Management and Public Policy from the Wagner School for Public Service at New York University.
