Koya partnered with the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) on the search for a Vice President for Human Resources. NJIT is the state’s public polytechnic university and a leader in STEM education, research, economic development, and service. The search resulted in the recruitment of Dale McLeod to the role.
McLeod has extensive higher education experience in human resources management and human resources information systems technology.
Most recently, Dale was interim Vice President of Human Resource Management and Development at The George Washington University (GW), where he was responsible for HR strategy and operations that encompassed learning and development, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits strategy. There, he developed a four-year human capital management strategic plan. Notable accomplishments include establishing employee engagement programs, enhancing talent management and talent attraction practices, improving the efficiency and effectiveness of HR processes and programs, and overseeing development programs to align with institutional goals and industry best practices.
McLeod was a member of GW’s Culture Leadership Steering Committee, which implemented programs aimed at fostering a commitment to service and improving the experience of all constituents.
McLeod previously served in leadership roles at Pace University, Seton Hall University.
McLeod received his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Pace University. He earned a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology from George Washington University. He also holds a senior professional HR certification from the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM).
