Koya is proud to have partnered with Lafayette College’s senior leadership team on the recruitment of the Controller, resulting in the placement of Andrea Bohn. Andrea brings over 20 years of experience to Lafayette College, most of which has been with non-profit organizations in the healthcare and higher education arenas.
Most recently, Andrea was the Associate Vice President for Financial Operations at Ursinus College. At Ursinus her responsibilities included audit and accounting, tax, grants, student accounts receivable, disbursements (payroll and accounts payable), purchasing, and budgeting. She also has experience with debt financing, financial analysis, process improvement, and policy development. At Ursinus, Andrea led the implementation of a new multi-year financial planning model, as well as restructuring the College’s budget management process.
Prior to joining Ursinus College, Andrea was Vice President of Accounting for Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network for two years. Before that she worked as their Director of Financial Reporting for nearly 10 years. She served in a time of rapid growth and development, taking the financial reporting lead on a new partnership with University of Pennsylvania Health System that increased the size of the organization by over 50%.
Andrea served as the Controller for Ancora Capital and Management Group, LLC for over seven years and in various accounting related positions with Rodale Institute.
Andrea is a native of Kutztown, Pennsylvania and earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a M.B.A. from the Kutztown University.
