We believe corporations have a responsibility to use their profits for good and that employees should both drive and actively participate in that giving.
That’s why we launched an employee-driven corporate giving model, where Koya employees are trained in venture philanthropy and oversee our annual giving program—from sourcing possible investment opportunities, to conducting due diligence, to reviewing the outcomes. We’re proud to invest 5% of our profits in the social impact sector each year. And we’re proud that our team members also give generously of their time to local service activities, nonprofit boards, and pro bono search and consulting.
Koya Day of Service: Team Building with Purpose
Koya’s philanthropic philosophy is rooted in building individual and organizational impact for our staff and company. We believe corporations have a responsibility to use their profits for good and that employees should both drive and actively participate in that giving. Our giving program includes many components—from days of service to educational trainings on personal giving to employee-led “passion projects.” We’re proud that our team members also give generously of their time to local service activities, nonprofit boards, and pro bono search and consulting.
