Bradford Newquist is the Director of Development at Gilda’s Club Chicago. So that no one has to face cancer alone™ – Gilda’s Club Chicago (the Club) provides over 350 programs for men, women and children living with cancer, and families and friends to help build social, emotional and informational support as a supplement to medical care. All programs, services and support are provided free of charge.
Bradford is a passionate communicator with a rare combination of artistic talent, interpersonal skills, and strategic thinking that enables him to capture audiences and create advocates. He enjoys discovering, cultivating and stewarding relationships, and brings to Gilda’s Club Chicago a demonstrated record of accomplishment and mission fulfillment.
Bradford comes from the National Audubon Society, where he was responsible for donor cultivation and stewardship in the Chicago area, Great Lakes region and the Mississippi Flyaway. Prior to that, he was the Director of Major Gifts at the American Cancer Society. Bradford also brings over 20 years of experience at Mercy Home for Boys and Girls where he played a key role in the early completion of a $20M endowment campaign. At Gilda’s Club Chicago, he will be responsible for individual donations, as well as corporate sponsorships and major gifts.
Prior to his philanthropy endeavors, Bradford managed a successful music career that spanned more than 20 years. Highlights include solo concert performances around the world, lead vocalist with Chicago’s premier orchestras, and three self-produced solo recordings. Bradford earned a Bachelor of Music Degree from the University of Oklahoma. He is based in Chicago.
