The Rockefeller Foundation Names Christine Heenan as Vice President for Policy, Partnerships and Communications

 


Koya Leadership Partners is proud to have partnered with The Rockefeller Foundation and President Dr. Rajiv J. Shah to place Christine Heenan as Vice President for Policy, Partnerships and Communications. Heenan will serve as a close advisor to Shah as he continues to chart a bold, new course for the Foundation’s next decade and beyond.

Heenan is the Founder and President of Clarendon Group, a leading public affairs agency known for its expertise in health care and education policy. She has served as an advisor to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ballmer Group, the Broad Institute, Harvard University and philanthropist Donald Sussman, among others. Earlier in her career, Heenan was the Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications for Harvard University and served with the Clinton-Gore Administration.

In her role at Rockefeller, Heenan will lead the Foundation’s efforts to partner with governments, civil society, entrepreneurs and corporations to advance its mission and goals. She will also direct communications, policy, regional and strategic partnerships, program influence and Bellagio Center convenings and events.
