Koya Leadership Partners congratulates Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology (BCAT) on the appointment of Gina E. Burkhardt as its new President and Chief Executive Officer.
The Buffalo Center for Arts and Technology is based on Pittsburgh’s Manchester Bidwell Corporation, a nationally recognized arts and training center founded in 1969 by Bill Strickland. BCAT’s mission is to inspire youth to complete high school and pursue secondary education through exposure to the creative arts, and assist unemployed and underemployed adults with job training that awards them with family sustainable wages.
Burkhardt’s selection was made after a thoughtful and comprehensive search overseen by Koya.
Recognized nationally for her forward-thinking, research-based leadership in education and workforce development, Burkhardt brings more than 25 years of success and experience to lead BCAT to its next level of significant growth and opportunity.
