FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Koya’s Ongoing, Continuous Growth is Due to Its Mission: The Right Person in the Right Place
Can Change the World.
Newburyport, MA, June 10, 2019 – The Boston Business Journal has unveiled its “Fast 50” list, spotlighting the top 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts. Local company Koya Leadership Partners was named to this prestigious list for the second consecutive year. Koya Leadership Partners, headquartered in Newburyport, MA, is a leading executive search and strategic advising firm dedicated to leading mission-driven searches.
The winners were selected and ranked based on a formula that counts revenue growth from 2015 to 2018. The numbers were calculated and analyzed by the Boston Business Journal’s research department and CPA firm Withum, a Fast 50 partner.
BBJ and Withum evaluated each company’s financial performance metrics to determine the rankings. Only firms with headquarters in Massachusetts and reported revenue of at least $500,000 in 2015 and $1 million in 2018 were considered. Per the BBJ, this year’s 50 fastest-growing companies all posted revenue growth from 2015 to 2018 of at least 75 percent.
“It’s a huge honor to have made the prestigious Boston Business Journal’s “Fastest Growing Private Companies” list for the second consecutive year. Our ongoing and continuous growth is due to our commitment to our mission. Koya was founded on a single belief—The Right Person in the Right Place Can Change the World—and we’re deeply committed to our role of matching mission-driven clients with transformational leaders who are driving positive change,” said Koya Founder & CEO Katie Bouton. “Additionally, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional client service, hiring a best-in-class team that meets (and exceeds) our clients’ expectations, and prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion, which are critical elements in today’s world.”
“We’re in an unusual and desirable situation now, with an abundance of open jobs and positions at all levels. As a result, many organizations are looking for help to attract, recruit, and hire qualified staff. As the competition for talent continues to soar, we’re in a unique position to help mission-driven organizations fill leadership positions that will help spark positive social change,” Bouton explained. “To do this successfully, we go beyond finding candidates that ‘look good on paper.’ It’s about finding talented leaders with the necessary knowledge and experience, who also fit in seamlessly with each organization’s culture and mission. This is Koya’s sweet spot, where we excel and why we’re continuing to grow and thrive.”
